Shotcrete reinforced with steel elements is used for the primary reinforcement of tunnels performed by NATM. The basic input quantity for mathematical modeling of the primary lining is the determination of the bending and normal stiffness of the lining, which can significantly complicate the solution, especially for cross-sections reinforced with rigid rolled elements (currently eg Dobrovského tunnel in Brno). To replace such a reinforced cross-section with a homogeneous cross-section, the theory of reinforced concrete is used, where the homogenization of the cross-section is performed according to the relations converting the homogenization problem into a homogeneous cross-section with modulus of elasticity, from which cross-sectional quantities and others are further calculated. This procedure, especially for time-dependent modulus of elasticity of concrete, leads to the need to repeat the calculation with a different value of the variable bci. The paper presents an alternative approach, using the theory of inhomogeneous cooperating rings according to Fotievov homogenizing cross section in relation to the modulus of elasticity of concrete.
