A ground caving goes with excavation of subterraneous galleries especially those driven on shallow depth in loose materials. The ground overbreak accounts for as one of the chief cause of a ground caving that extends as far as the ground surface in many occurrences. The paper gets at the root of the relation between amounts of overbreak and ground caving along with considering other innate constituents being involved in. Outlined matter is investigated by mathematical discontinues model (program PFC2D) that matches up well with the loose ground material traits.
