Preliminary tests were performed to evaluate the electrical resistivity of postmining wastes. The electrical resistivity of postflotation and post-launder wastes was examinated with field and laboratory geoelectrical measurements. Depending on wastes type different electrical resistivity was observed. The post-launder wastes were characterized by much higher electrical resistivity than postflotation wastes examinated with laboratory measurements. The values examinated with field measurements were different than laboratory measurement. The difference between electrical resistivity of postlaunder and postflotation wastes is caused mainly by different mineralogical composition of the wastes.
