The article deals with a sphere of a risk management which creates an element of the integrated management system. It focuses on extraordinary situations such as a fire and an explosion creation which are caused by chemical substances’ releases which have hazardous properties. In theoretical part possibilities of a modelling and an assessment of these extraordinary situations are discussed. The part and parcel is a concrete study of hydrogen releases from pipeline and potential consequences to people and building structures.
