These days, geotechnicians often ask geophysicists for necessary data about geotechnical properties of material under research, mainly for purpose of mathematical modeling. Geotechnicians have to use either table values or values, coming from small number of laboratory or terrain tests. We want to summarize our knowledge of possibilities to get requested geotechnical properties and their reliability from geophysical measurements.
