This contribution presents implementation of the laser distance meter Leica DistoTM4 to the distributed measuring system with continual data recording which is build-up in the medieval ore mine Jeroným. Principle of operation of Leica DISTO distance meter, block diagram of communication interface and mechanical design are briefly described. Laser distance meter is used for measurement of deformation of high inaccessible roof of chamber K2. First results of measurement are presented.
