Analogue technologies, such as sound, film and video recording, have a long history in many areas of research. The advantage of new digital technologies and the dynamic development of computer technologies are reflected in the possibility of the use of visual methods. The reason for the application of methods of visual observation in the historical mining work Jeronym is the inability to install all elements of a distributed measurement system (DMS) in selected locations in mining works with regard to the stability of the reduced space. Passportization of litterfalls and cavings is also suitable application.
